Felix Guattari and Gilles Deleuze wrote in A Thousand Plateaus that becoming is always minoritarian. Male gaze is a majoritarian point of view. In order to become anybody, even a male you have to undergo minoritarian becomings: becoming a female, a child, an animal. Dance is the art that is fluid. It erases gender, age and pieces boundaries and thus redefines what it means to be human.
